Would

Today was my last 'official' day of school. The year has really gone by all-too-soon. I've lost project 2) again.

Ridiculous

Uh, Joy - I thought that you put the banana there as a random act. Which kinds of supports randomness and its need to be celebrated. Okay, let's start making small goals to entertain myself:

1. Steal project 2) and scan things to show you. Oh, did I mention that I was going to show you guys project 2)? I must as well. Kind of.
2. Commit three acts of total randomness tomorrow. It's not going to be kind, or mean. Just...random.

---

But wow, Joy. That is so MLIA. I've always been slightly skeptic of the stuff posted on there..

2) Down The Drain?

My mission is accomplished for today. How did you do?

Okay. I think that project 2) is down the drain, as the title of this post indicated. I went into the library (clue number two) and went to check on it. Guess what? Yeah, it has disappeared. I have no idea what happened to it or whether it will turn up. I guess I'll check at the end of the week before I start crying.

The Theme Of The Year

Recently, my mind has been tortured by art. Not tortured, and not really by art. I exaggerate. (I also initially spelled exaggerate with two x's). Anyway, I have to find a 'theme' relating to landscape for art. I've done half of everything which I could have done to find that theme. A giant mind map has been produced, awkward discussions have taken place, numerous drawings drawn that I have labelled as 'distraction' and a lot of time wasted.

As I was saying to somebody today, I don't know why I put so much energy into art. I seem to put more of myself into the subject than anything else really. I've even...um, had to stop myself from going to the art classroom everyday. Dangerous stuff. If I spent more time than I did already, I must as well bring a sleeping bag and a food stock to the art block. Why don't I just make painfully shallow work with no meaning? But who am I to say that my work is deep and full of meaning..

On another note, project 2) has stepped up to level two. It's beginning to simmer. I'm excited, aren't you?

Scatteredishness

Hi, I'm back again - that is, if you noticed that I went in the first place. I was going through a bit of an odd patch and decided to write amounts of nothingless on my blog for three days. Sorry about that if that left you a bit...-insert how you felt here-. I promise not to do that again, that is - if you don't like it.

If you'd like to know, I haven't thought about project 2) for a few days. I last checked in on Friday, contemplated checking it on Monday - but ended up not doing so. My personal forecast tells me that I will probably regularly check on it on Fridays from now on. It's weird when you suddenly realise that you have not thought about something for a few days. Not even fleetingly.

Is there a certain sense by which you remember things best? Today, I figured out that my best remembered sense would probably be smell. On a sub-concious level. Consciously, it would be visual/sight. My auditory memory is worse than yours, and yours too. Anything said during the day will turn into a mass of jumbled up mush by the end.

Am I rambling? Sorry.

Drag Racers

Hi. I choose to end "Blog Week" today because it has really sucked.

Well, I went to check on project 2). I'm close to writing it off as a fail. But I might give it a month before I decide to flag it. Today, I have gained back faith in school when I lost The Game in physics, about ten people moaned. Think about it - it used to be just me and another who would whine and moan (stop it) about the game. It's spreading...

It's 10:11pm, and I'm kind of tired. I got back not too long ago. Yay for socialisation Fridays. I need to...get out of the house more.

Just a thought.

G'night.

To Build A Home

I have either turned into the world's biggest optimist or I'm having the best week of my life (so far). I had cross country today as well, due to my laziness - I opted to do the fun walk around the block instead of the 2km run. But wait, there more...with about five other people via tagteam style, we pushed our friend Lauren in her wheelchair around the course. It was great. We also overtook a lot of people. I ran more than I walked, great.

On another note, you should listen to, The Cinematic Orchestra - To Build A Home if you haven't already. I won't go as far to say that you haven't 'lived' if you have not heard this. But, it's getting up there on my favourite song of all time. If you listen to it, maybe it might get up there in your list too.

Brigitte's Favourite Songs

- Massive Attack - Teardrop
- Rob Dougan - Clubbed To Death

- The Cinematic Orchestra - To Build A Home

Another note, plenty today. Just to torture you, I'm setting off to check on project 2) tomorrow. Tomorrow, sigh.

The Start Of A Small Misadventure

Because I have the power to, I will announce this week as Blog Week. That's just for me anyway, Joy can do whatever the hell she wants to do (: It just gives me a change to indulge in that horrible blogging style of "This is what I did, and then, and then, and then, today".

Today was a mix of some hyperventilation, the need to look inconspicuous (for a different reason actually), and a little bit of courage. A bit of sneaking around, awkward stares...feeling self-concious when you're doing things whilst keeping to yourself (we all do that...I hope). Okay, sorry. That didn't make sense at all. I began project 2). That project I'm going to refuse to tell any of you about it. But the key is for all of you to know of the existence of such a project.

It started today, 26/4/10. I never put 0s in my months, it looks odd to me. In school, in the morning. I was by myself, and I had a fricking great time.

Pablo Honey

What's life without interestingness? (Nothing, really). So, I have two project lined up for myself for the next while-amount of time.

1) I plan to take a photo corresponding to every Radiohead song ever written. I happen to own their entire discography, which I haven't really taken the time to listen to. By going through each of their ninety songs, I'll be searching lyrics...looking at music videos, listening to each song for hours on end. (I may be that committed). It won't be an everyday thing, I'm not prepared to commit to that. I might dump a link when I've posted one to Flickr.

2) I'm not telling you. But considering the fact that I even chose to mention this project, means that I'm actually begging for you to ask me. It's a reverse-reverse psychology thing. Oh, I'm just playing jedi mind tricks on you.
