Let's talk about those 'which type of learner?' are you quizzes. They generally ask you:
Which applies to you the most:
a. 'That looks right'
b. 'That sounds right'
c. 'That feels right'
And of course, you know that it matches up with a. visual, b. auditory and c. kinaesthetic.
Personally, I think that I'm a visual/kinaesthetic learner...as much as I'd like to be auditory - I'm not that special.. But I just realised, isn't there one 'sense' missing, which would be smell? Obviously we couldn't learn by scent, but are there some people in the world who remember best by scent? Like memory by scent?
What kind of learner are you? (open ended questions invite the other person participating in the conversation to think for themselves and give any type of answer they wish)
i'm an amazing scent rememberer
ReplyDeletei will smell something and that will take me back to a memory
and i can walk downstairs and go mmmm muffins (actually my mum doesn't bake but you know)
but that first statement was true, like there's this lip balm that reminds me of the melbourne show 2008 and our air freshener = childhood
