Dear future Brigitte,

Have you stopped biting your nails yet? It's an endearing habit which you've kept for so many years. Have you learned how to manage your life a bit better? You've been trying to, and I suppose that you're still trying. You're currently collapsed on your bed struggling to generate something for today's post. It's odd, because you feel obliged to put in effort for today. You were going to go for the slightly terse one-sentence-means-everything kind of post, but put that on tumblr instead.

Feeling overwhelmed is normal, get used to it.

dear jessy

Melbourne: Phillip Island, City (shopping), culture-y stuff depending on when you come (when are you coming by the way?) ummmm you could go to the Dandenongs, Brighton beach (i havent been there but it looks cool) or Sandringham beach. ooh and moonlight cinema (i havent been there either) and you have to eat Lord of the Fries. and Crust pizza because I work there - you should buy it from me!
Arts center which is like the art gallery, it's cool the first time but not the next 10 when you go on school trips. And then if you are in the city go and look at the Yarra (the river) which is yucky brown and imagine me rowing on that and getting splashed all over with that water
oh and go to MLC because that's my school :)
and catch a tram!

Sydney: opera house and harbour bridge (duh). i climbed the harbour bridge but it was quite a lot of money, so i'm not sure if that's worth it. And I went to the blue mountains which was nice and I SAW A TREE WHICH HAD LIPS ON IT!!!
and also one of the coolest places i have ever been to, was this little tea house god knows where. and it was FULL of different tea cups and pots, and they served you tea and scones with jam and cream and it was just lovely. and it was like a bus trip thing for tourists where the buses ran every so often and you could stop wherever you wanted on the route, and it also stopped at this chocolate place which made nice little chocolates. i dont remember anything else though.

Canberra: when i went, THE FOLK FESTIVAL WAS ON. yep that was my main attraction. um i also went to this market with my mum (actually i did everything with my mum) but yeah the market was good, and apparently the science museum or something - questacon? oh and if i were you i would try and sneak a look at the army university cause that sounds cool

oh wow i wrote heaps, i hope you read this :|

Dear Joy,

If I do not see a video sitting on/at/in this blog tonight, you shall be schooled.

Dear Reader,

It was halfway through this blog 365 nine days ago. Just thought that you should know that, unless Joy mentioned it before. Awkward.

Well, I'm writing to you because, I just...never really took the time to say thank you for reading this blog. As tiny as the amount of readers we have is (that was really bad English), people are people - which counts as people. And I think that it is three people. Or more. Lurkers. I lurk many sites and never tell the people I lurk - so I guess that it's only fair that lurkers don't have to un-lurk themselves. That's mean.

How are you?

That was a bit late, but I felt obligated to ask.

I'm on holiday at the moment (as of 3:20pm today), so I'm free all day. Kind of. But free for most of the time. Which means that, I have a feeling that I've talked about this already...

"The holidays are coming up at the end of the week. Which means I have three weeks of free days. Or free weeks of three days. Days of free three weeks. There. Which means that I'll have more time to spend on things, such as this. I'm quite glad though that this blog hasn't turned in a chore - because as we know, chores aren't fun. Unless you're a cleaning hound. I have yet to meet a second one."

That's embarrassing, I actually did. So I reiterate my point...I have plenty of time for the next three weeks, which means that I could be conjuring something very interesting. Including ditching this weekly theme. I can't write letters for an entire week. I write enough letters as is. Argh.

Okay. Ditching the theme.
Back to random regurgitated information tomorrow.
Joy, I have to let you know about stuff. Get on MSN, or AIM or something.

Dear Agent Smith,

Even though you are actually Hugo Weaving, I will pretend that your real self does not exist and instead, talk to your fictional character whom you played in The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. You were extremely cool and I plan on running a Matrix marathon, by myself.

Anyway, I'd like to say thank you for existing. Truly. Your sunglasses will beat Horatio's any day - which leads me to thank you some more for not taking them off...and putting them on every doggamned scene you're in with a snappy punchline which makes you go, "ooohhhhhh". Your cool ways with messing with Neo's mind, as well as everyone else's has made you truly inspiring.

Then you hit closer to (my) home, when you popped up in some after-exam-end-of-the-year game in year nine science. We did not fully understand the game, but it was pretty fun playing with a miniature (but pixalated) card cut-out of you. Then I decided to use you in my year ten art painting topic. It was rather fun, having a small you in the corner...and then a big you in the other corner. The red and blue drips symbolised the real world and The Matrix...and...yeah.

Even though your hairline is receding, your cool hasn't receded at all.
Keep it up,
Brigitte

Dear Person In The Sky,

Even though I do not believe in you, not being to be wholly controversial, I'd like to thank you. This week has been so darn awesome. Everything I say is awesome, and awesome things are awesomely happening. I thank my sudden hit of the common cold to be the cause of this awesomeness, but I do not know.

The thing is, that, I have been...feeling kind of different. Not variably different. But like, I've switched flavours of cordial. I don't know whether I'll run out of this flavour/run back to my original flavour - but I'm kind of enjoying this slight revamp in personality.

Yet again, the placebo effect is probably at it again. Damn reverse psychology. The sugar pills just taste so good.

Just thought that I'd let you know,
Brigitte

Dear Sick Person,

No, you are not sick in the mind/head. You are sick. Not sadistically sick, sorry. I mean, you have tiny chickens laying tiny eggs in your head. Your head is just as blocked as mine, yet you still go to school.

I could possibly blame you for making me sick, although I'm not entirely sure if you actually did render me unhealthy in the first place - I could have just made myself sick by making poor health choices. 1) The fact that I do not listen to my mother's warnings about catching the 'chill' 2) Acting upon 1). But, it always feels better to blame the other person. Which I do, most of the time.

When we will get better, I don't know - but it better be sometime soon. This sickness only seems to hit me once in the winter time and once in any arbitrarily given season. Not good, but better than some who are just a *little* sick throughout the entire year. It hits us in giant...smacks of sickness.

On the other hand, being sick means that you get to complain about how sick you are and get out of things - which wouldn't happen otherwise. It's kind of, nice to get some sympathy too. Note that no sympathy is given during the winter season, because everyone is sick. If anyone did feel sorry for you, then that would be kind of absurd. Everyone is either sick, or not sick during winter, or any other time...actually. The people who are sick feel sorry for themselves and the people who aren't feel sorry for the ones who are out of pure courtesy. I don't think that they actually do care. Or do they?

Have fun anyway, I have to go and clear my nasal passageway.
Brigitte

Dear Joy,

After we finish this blog 365, we should so video blog.
Oh wait, I meant, vlog.

Anyway, I'm sick. And I'm still going to go to school tomorrow - which means that I will make everyone sick. Wait, if everyone is sick anyway, does that mean that my sickness affects them? Will I make them, sicker? I hope not, because if I'm sick and everyone else is - that will escalate to a whole new level of sickness.

You can probably tell that I've been watching vlogs of a certain brotherhood.
Go forth, watch them. They're so much more entertaining.

Yours,
Brigitte

Dear Jules,

I'd put your last name there, but I'm not too sure how internet-paranoid you are. Chances are that you'll never read this, unless I link it to you. Who knows, maybe you secretly lurk this blog (hah).

This is just to let you know how confused I am about what is happening with the V48 Hours competition. It doesn't exactly help that I'm in Singapore, leaving you to find some more semi-team members back in Auckland...but you need to at least live and breathe internet a little bit more. The lack of contact is not really clearing anything at the moment. I'm not angry at you, I hardly get angry :) But one thing I hate is losing sleep. Because I don't really sleep very well in the first place. I'm going to have troubled sleep tonight wondering who?what?when?why?how? is happening. I've semi-facebook spammed you several times, as well as harass you on tumblr...but we've only talked once about the whole kerfuffle.

---
"Is it possible to withdraw your team this late in the competition?"
- You, in a tweet to the V48 Hours site
---

I will lose sleep over this statement. You didn't ask me about anything? Honestly, not practically, but honestly...I think that we can pull through this together + one or two actors. It's not hard, we have our gear, catering and transport sorted out and we're not too bad with our ideas. Just because I messed up a lot prior to that doesn't mean that we can't give this a crack.

I'm not exactly the best at writing letters, but that was [kind of] what I had to say.

Expect an overseas call tomorrow,
Brigitte.

(if you really are sick and tired of this whole thing, TELL ME NOW so that I can at least try to mentally prepare myself for pulling through this entire bloody thing by myself).

[money is not the issue right now, instalments Jules, instalments.]

Dear Reader,

Do you actually read these blog posts?

I don't know, I'm just asking...

If you do, please leave a comment below...

Maybe how you found this blog + why you read this blog...

I need to know that such followers actually exist...

It's an ego/self esteem thing :)
