RIGHT it was about that story The Black Cat
anyway its about a guy who has a pet cat and they love each other very much. then the guy starts drinking and going a bit wrong in the head. so then he starts hating the cat for no reason and one day just decides to cut it's eyeball out.

and then the cat gets better and is really scared of the guy (well no shit). then one night the guy decides to hang the cat.
that's not it but thats just the freaky bit
mostly the cutting the eye out bit. just came as a total shock
