Receiving constructive criticism is like craving peanut butter. Most of the time, you source out the peanut butter for yourself (and maybe once in a blue moon - somebody actually gifts you with a bottle or two). When you open your jar of buttery, peanutty goodness, the only thing stuck to the roof of your mouth is the bitter taste of disappointment.
You can't complain, you're not allowed to. Nobody forced this spread upon you, damn...you actually asked for it. As you tongue away at the mass lump of peanut butter that won't go away, it never seems to disappear. As much as you'd like to forget about it, you just can't stop thinking about it. Burdened, forever.
However, you can learn to embrace the fact that you have made a problem for yourself because now, you have to fix it. You could take a bite of another sandwich (unless you eat peanut butter in spoonfuls). Or you could just...well, get over it.
