"I first heard about big sisters at cross country ski camp, where I met three year seven girls. They told us about their big sisters and outdoor leaders, and how some of them were very nice and funny and others did not come to visit them much or get to know them. It was especially good hearing them say how much they loved some of the older girls. It seemed like big sisters really made an impact on the year sevens’ lives. During the camp, I got to know these three girls. They were all so innocent and nice, as well as enthusiastic and energetic. I decided that it would be great to be a big sister and get to know a whole class of year sevens, and make their time at school more enjoyable."
